View Royal Open House

View Royal has invited all View Royal and Westshore Skateboarders who want a new skatepark to come to their Parks Master Plan Open House on Wednesday February 3rd. They want to hear from the skatepark community so it’s very important we all attend and show our support.

If any of the following applies to you….
A: You like Skateparks
B: You want to tell View Royal how much you like Skateparks
C: You want to see a skatepark in View Royal

Then come down Wednesday night and add your voice of support!

Thank You!

On behalf of the Westshore Skatepark Coalition and myself personally, I would like to thank each and everyone who donated-to, attended, purchased and/or stoked-out our rad gathering last night. You are all awesome! Together we ARE a community of like-minded individuals and together with hope and perseverance we will once again have a Westshore skatepark to share a session upon.

Skatepark Survey

Have your say!

To help get a new Skatepark, we need to know who’s skateboarding in the westshore. So we’ve put together a short survey that will help us push for the kind of skatepark you want.
We’re also hoping to use your responses to let the community know why it’s so important to have a new park. So give us your best answers and lets move westshore skateboarding forward!

Create your own user feedback survey

Thanks from the WSC

Signature Moves! The Westshore Skatepark Coalition Launch Event

Our goal is to raise awareness that the Langford skatepark was destroyed with no real back-up plan for replacement, to recrut new WSC members, to fundraise for our group/plight, and to hype up future Westshore-based meetings.

We’re hosting a silent-auction of autographed skateboard stuff (photos to come), we’ll have free pizza (courtesy of Panago) an acoustic music set by blues guitarist/ pro skater Craig Williams, and more…

Please come participate, brainstorm and hang out. If you’re driving there’s parking close by at the Centennial Square parkade. Skate if you’d like to, but safe skateboard storage is at a minimum -coat/skate check by donation.
